Ski Chalet

It may come as a suprise to most of you but Bob and I have recently purchased an apartment in the French ski resort of Val d'Isere as an Investment property.

We have kept the whole project quiet until now as it is more than a little bit scary but better than a pension and who wants a bond in this dreary land when you can have an alpine escape? As of the end of April 2006 it will be available to be rented for weekends/weeks.

For the remainder of this season we will be charging approximately US$200 per week mate's rates (US$600 for the week for others).  Whilst the apartment will be insured,  you will have to take out your own contents insurance (unless you are "family").

We will be letting it out properly as of next season but for this year it will be a first come first served basis.  Let me know if you're interested.
